WISH LIST
These bad boys are Filipino designer Kermit Tesoro's creation. I have been trying to figure out where to buy them for ages. I will be SO happy when I have them, my wallet however, will not.
The snaps below are from his Holiday Collection 2012, at the SMX Convention Center, in Pasay City, Phillipines.
Mind = Blown!
Photo's from Czarr Kristoff's Photo blog. Find Kermit here!

Switching up the Hemispheres
Going back home has
really made me realize jut how long it’s been since I’ve strolled down Robson
street, sipped a latte in my favorite cafes, swam in the pacific, really
saturated myself in things that used to be so familiar. Has anything really
changed?
And then I realized.
I came here straight from Asia – only sporting bikini’s, thongs, sunscreen,
sarongs and random knickknacks picked up along the way. I have been so excited to fill my closet
with Australian labels – Zimmerman, White Suede, Bec and Bridge, Museum, etc.
What do people even wear in Canada anymore?
I am now HYPED for
shopping, and it feels more like a vacation than somewhere I used to know.
If Canada did
anything well, I would have to say winterwear would be up there. I am more than
excited to find a nice heavy coat to snuggle up in just in time for our
Australian Winter. Below – an absolute favourite home-brewed Canadian brand - Mackage.
Butter-soft leathers, ultra cute rainy day trenches and an amazing new ready to wear line. Don't mind if I do!

The Life Between - Miss Unkon @ Mercedes Benz Fashion Week
Colourful clothes, beautiful people, outrageous outfits, and the high intensity and stress of a short-lived event
Feeling
pretty surreal to have helped out with and experienced the Miss Unkon show at
Fashion Week. There is something truly magical about the brand. Whether it’s the
effortlessly cool execution, kind and gentle nature, or simply the passion
exuding from the beautiful creative team, there is such a strong and authentic presence.
The
pieces in show were both delicate and whimsical, painted in sorbet shades of
peach, pinks, and blues. A palette inspirited by the art deco era of Miami. Unabashedly
short but
sweet frocks danced across the runway, with peeks of metal arm candy to toughen
up the otherwise angelic appeal.
Courtney
Meyer, the creative driving force behind Miss Unkon said the Spring/Summer '12 collection reflected the everyday beauty often forgotten or overlooked. She has
such a warm personality, and as expected worked exceptionally gracefully backstage.
She is the perfect portrait of a miss Unkon girl herself.
It was exciting to manage the rsvp list, the show pulled an impressive crowd. Spotted were Alexandra Spencer from 4th and Bleeker, Geneva from A Pair and a Spare, Nicole from Gary Peppar Vintage, Kani from KisforKani, Yenny from Studded Hearts, Susie from StyleBubble, and Bryanboy!! Here are a few pictures of from both backstage
and front of house.
